Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) cover the ECTV website and apps (the “Service”) at ectv.app. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What ECTV is
ECTV is a media player. You add playlists or portal details that you already have (for example Xtream Codes, Stalker/MAC or M3U).
ECTV does not sell, rent, host or provide IPTV playlists, channels, movies, series or any other media content. We are not an IPTV provider. Streams come from providers you choose yourself.
Any paid subscription unlocks application features only. It does not include access to channels, streams or media content.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the playlists and credentials you add.
- Only use content you have a lawful right to access.
- Do not use ECTV for pirated or otherwise illegal content.
- We do not endorse third-party providers and are not required to monitor playlists you add.
3. Accounts
Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Contact support@ectv.app if you think someone else is using it.
4. Device linking (EC Link)
EC Link connects a device running ECTV to your account so your playlist and membership can sync. Only link devices you own or control.
5. Free and Premium features
Some features may be free. Premium features (for example Movies & Series or offline downloads) may require a paid subscription through ectv.app. Prices and what’s included may change. Where the law allows, fees for a started billing period are non-refundable unless we say otherwise at checkout or your payment provider requires it.
If a trial is offered, limits are shown at sign-up. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from your account where that option is available.
6. Acceptable use
Do not abuse or disrupt the Service, bypass limits, use it for anything illegal, or claim that ECTV supplies playlists or channels.
7. Intellectual property
ECTV branding, software and website materials belong to us or our licensors. Third-party content you play belongs to its rights holders.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that streams from your providers will work without interruption. Those depend on third parties.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ECTV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or business, from your use of the Service or third-party playlists and streams. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim or (b) £50.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms. Sections on content responsibility, disclaimers and liability still apply after termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.
